Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler opened Janie’s House outside of Memphis, Tennessee on Monday. Janie’s House will house 14 girls at a time while teaching them skills they need to get back on their feet after living in abusive situations.
Janie’s House is named after the Aerosmith hit, “Janie’s Got a Gun.” The song was written about a girl who was abused by her parents.
This is the second Janie’s House Tyler has opened. The first is located in Atlanta.
