A Florida man (approximately 99% of all funny stories on the internet start with those two words) got “Soda popped” with “extreme speeding” and reckless operation because he wanted the sweet, sugary, embrace of caffeine. Matthew Anzaldi was arrested after a high police speed chase that followed multiple witnesses seeing the man pass fellow motorists in the emergency lane and run multiple red lights. When the man finally stopped and was questioned by police, he defended his actions by saying he “really wanted a Pepsi.” Anzaldi also claimed someone was chasing him and firing bullets, although no evidence to support the claim was found. Man, this Pepsi Challenge is getting pretty extreme, huh? -Kyle
