UPDATE: March 4, 11:54 a.m. Luke Perry was pronounced dead this morning at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, CA. He was surrounded by several family members including his children and fiance.
Representatives for the actor say he was in a medically induced coma to give his brain a chance to heal, but never fully recovered. FULL STORY
Feb. 28: Breaking news from TMZ and news outlets, Luke Perry, 52, has suffered a massive stroke at his LA home around 9 a.m. PST. The actor is currently hospitalized and this story is developing.
The news comes on the heels of Fox’s announcement of a “90210” revival he has not yet signed on to be part of. Perry’s former co-stars, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling and Jason Priestly, to name a few, will be part of the project.
Perry is famous for his role as Dylan on the 90’s television show “Beverly Hills: 90210” and as Fred Andrews on “Riverdale.”
