Netflix to Produce “The Baby-Sitters Club”

OMG I have been needing some Claudia in my life! Netflix has given a straight-to-series order for a 2019 adaptation of the 90’s hit book & television series, “The Baby-Sitters Club.”

“The themes of ‘The Baby-Sitters Club’ still resonate 30 years after the original book series was released, and there has never been a more opportune time to tell an aspirational story about empowering young female entrepreneurs,” said Melissa Cobb, VP of Kids and Family at Netflix.

The first season will have 10 thirty-minute episodes. No word yet on a cast or premiere date. -Taylor
