I remember the first time I saw a CD player. The fact that you could skip DIRECTLY to the song you wanted blew my mind. What complicates this story is the fact that I experienced this revelation in 1997, which is a full 13 YEARS after CD’s came out. Yes, I know. I was raised up a holler in Appalachia and we only had tapes. Please stop laughing.
