DON'T EAT THE COOKIES

Mondelez Global has issued a recall of Chewy Chips Ahoy. MY FAVORITE! This. is. a crisis.

Not really. But still, not ideal.

The recall comes after reports of an “unexpected solidified ingredient,” in some packages. Other reports have also spoken of, “adverse health effects,” according to a statement from the company. They didn’t elaborate on the nitty gritty of what those “effects” were, though.

The recall is just for the 13-ounce Chewy Chips Ahoy in the red packages with “Best When Used By Dates” of September 2019.

No other Chips Ahoy products are included in the recall.

So, are the cookies “solidified” already? Or do they solidify once they’re in your stomach? C’mon, I want the deets! -Taylor
