I would say this is a case of life imitating art, but does “Lethal Weapon 2” really count as art?

A neighborhood in Tullahoma, Tennessee was evacuated on Saturday after two guys got into an argument that led to a bomb scare.

During the argument, one of the guys sat on the toilet for a quick poop break . . . and the other guy said he’d rigged a pressure-sensitive bomb that would go off when the guy stood up.

Yes, exactly like the toilet bomb in “Lethal Weapon 2”.

Anyway, more than 300 people were evacuated from 90 homes nearby while the bomb squad came in to investigate.

After several hours, it turned out there WASN’T actually a bomb on the toilet and everyone was allowed back in their homes.

The 42-year-old guy who made the bomb threat was taken to a hospital for a, quote, “mental evaluation.”
