Currently the Tooth Fairy is paying an average of $3.70 per tooth according to the Original Tooth Fairy Poll conducted by Delta Dental. That’s down 43-cents from a year ago. Overall parents are shelling out some dough for teeth. 37% of parents say their kids get at least $5 or more for a lost tooth. The biggest factor contributing to how much a tooth is worth is simply how much cash parent hand at the time. Makes sense.
