Shots fired! Ed Sheeran’s main tattoo artist, Kevin Paul, recently came forward to AGREE with many fans who believe Sheeran’s tattoos are trash.
Some of the divisive tattoos Ed sports are a Heinz ketchup bottle, the Gingerbread Man from “Shrek” and the penguin from the kid’s show “Pingu.”
“Ever singe that that he’s got is personal to him,” Kevin said on Instagram. He also would like you to know that he’s capable of better work than Ed’s: “”I was a big massive artist doing 3D-work and winning multi awards. And then all of a sudden you end up doing Pingu the Penguin and [effing] gingerbread men on popstars.”
For what it’s worth, Kevin doesn’t regret working on Sheeran. …Mostly. “Ed is the best thing to happen to my career and the worst.”
