Mayors want full share of income tax receipts

Illinois mayors said Monday their top priority from the General Assembly this year is getting the money they said was promised when the state enacted its income tax 50 years ago.Specifically, the Illinois Municipal League wants the state to give cities the full 10 percent share of income tax collections.
