According to a new survey, more than two-thirds of people swear they’ve never lied on their resume.

15% of people say they have lied on a resume . . . and 16% say they’ve “bent the truth.”

People between 23 and 39 are the most likely to have lied on their resume.  So, millennials.  And men are 6% more likely to lie than women.

Of the people who HAVE lied or “bent the truth,” 79% say they were never caught.  14% were caught but nothing happened to them . . . and only 7% say there were consequences for lying.

In other words, you’ve got a 93% chance of a resume lie NOT backfiring on you.
