In the couple’s summer issue of “Magnolia Journal,” Joanna reveals that she almost didn’t go on a second date with Chip!
“For one thing, I was typically attracted to guys who were more on the quiet side. He was all over the place, talking about the businesses he’d started, and these ideas he had. In my mind, I somewhat instinctively checked his penchant for risk and chatty nature as two reasons we probably wouldn’t go on a second date.”
But, she said, when he did finally stop talking, “if only to take a breath,” she found herself wanting to talk about her hopes and dreams she hadn’t discussed with anyone.
She says his chatty and excited nature brought out something that was buried inside.
…and the rest is history!
