Woman becomes 23rd Villas East resident to die of COVID-19

The novel coronavirus has claimed another resident of The Villas East nursing home in Sherman Sangamon County Department of Public Health officials reported Tuesday.The latest victim ‒ a woman in her 80s ‒ died at the nursing home becoming the 23rd resident to succumb to the disease.
