People are desperate for LIVE sports . . . and “The Match: Champions for Charity” provided that over the weekend.  Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning took on Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady.  It aired on TNT, TBS, truTV, and HLN, and averaged 5.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched golf telecast in cable TV history.

In the end, Tiger and Manning out-dueled Phil and Brady, partially because Brady was really, REALLY bad.  Which is something we rarely get to say about him.

It even got comical at one point, when Brady split his pants.  He later joked, quote, “Pants wanted in on social distancing I guess . . . next time I’ll make sure to be wearing my [Under Armour] golf pants.”
