Sangamon, Morgan, Cass counties report five new COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 statistics inched forward in central Illinois Monday, including a report from the Sangamon County Department of Public Health that there were two new positive cases in the county.Neither newly identified person with the virus was hospitalized, said county spokesman Jeff Wilhite.
