Jimmy Buffett won’t be making his long-anticipated Grand Ole Opry debut after all. The 73-year old was supposed to appear this Saturday, June 27, but unfortunately, spikes in COVID-19 cases forced him to postpone the trip to Nashville.
Buffett posted a statement to Facebook with the announcement:
Brad Paisley and songwriter Mac McAnally were also scheduled to join the performance at the Opry. The Opry has not indicated how or if they’ll replace Buffett.
