Are you excited to get the latest phone?
According to a new survey, it seems fewer people are. And a majority of people say they don’t see the difference between the last phone they had.
A whopping 90% of respondents said buying the latest smartphone is a “waste of money.” More than half said they were “bored” with trying to keep up with the latest tech – and 75% said they’re no longer willing to shell out a bunch of money to get the newest features.
A third of survey respondents said they plan to spend less on smartphones and other gadgets over the next two years.
The iPhone 12 will be announced at Apple’s fall “Hi, Speed” event that is set to take place on Tuesday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. iPhone 12 pre-orders could begin that Friday on October 16, and the first iPhone 12 shipments and an official launch could happen on October 23.
