Bits And Pieces: Charley Pride, Jimmie Allen & More!

A private wake and memorial for Charley Pride will be held in Dallas, TX this week. The family is planning for a public celebration of Pride's life, which will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Pride Scholarship at Jesuit College Preparatory School, St. Phillips School and Community center, any local food bank, or the charity of your choice. CMT will re-air CMT Remembers Charley Pride tonight (Wednesday, Dec. 16th) at 8 p.m. ET. Pride died on Saturday (Dec. 12th) at the age of 86 due to COVID.

Jimmie Allen will perform on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021. This year's event will be closed to the public, but will still feature appearances and performances. Jimmie will be joined by Jennifer Lopez. Billy Porter, Cyndi Lauper, Ciara, Jesse James Decker and Lucy Hale, among others. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest will air live on December 31 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Brett Eldredge and Kelly Clarkson will bring their duet, “Under The Mistletoe,” to her The Kelly Clarkson Show today (Dec. 16th) (check local listings for time). Brett will also make an appearance on NBC’s Today show on Christmas Day (Dec. 25th) during the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. hours to perform songs from his holiday album, Glow.
