Soulja Boy's former assistant has accused the rapper of rape and assault. According to People, the former assistant, who filed a lawsuit as “Jane Doe,” has claimed that the rapper held her hostage, subjected her to a hostile work environment and failed to pay her.
When Jane Doe started working for Soulja Boy back in December 2018, she said that he expected her to be available at all times to clean, cook, chauffeur, styles his hair and perform personal assistant duties and in return, he agreed to pay her $500 per week. She alleged that she worked 20 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Jane Doe claimed that Soulja started sending “unsolicited pictures of his penis.” She claimed that although a brief consensual relationship developed, it allegedly soon turned violent. She claimed that starting around January 23rd, 2019, Soulja subjected her to bouts of jealousy and uncontrolled rage. She also says he kicked, body-slammed and punched her, including repeatedly in the head on “ten separate occasions,” and threatened physical harm. On one occasion, the woman says he punched her so hard in the head that she “lost consciousness.”
The woman also alleged in the suit that Soulja would “become enraged” if the woman got comments on her Instagram page or if her phone rang. After another violent instance, she claimed that he threatened her saying, “I should have killed you.”
Then in February 2019, the woman claimed that Soulja sexually assaulted her for the first time. She said that afterwards, he expressed remorse and offered her $1,000. She also alleged that “on numerous occasions, and sometimes twice in the same day, he would inappropriately touch her body, forcefully pull her pants off, and rape her.” She also claimed that the rapper locked her in her room “without hot water” for three days “until she was coerced into not leaving.”
Then in August 2020, Jane Doe has claimed that Soulja attacked her “so hard that she thought she was going to die. When she regained consciousness on the grass outside of his home, she says she fled without any of her belongings. When she returned to get her things in September or October, she claimed that Soulja raped her again. She later came back with law enforcement to retrieve her possessions and he allegedly didn't let her in. She left without her belongings and she claimed that she did not receive pay for most of the 18 months she was employed.
