Tory Lanez is asking a judge for permission to publicly speak on his felony assault case involving Megan Thee Stallion. According to TMZ, in a new court filing, the singer said that his inability to publicly defend himself might allow people to believe Megan's side of the story without hearing his side.

Meanwhile, Tory also claimed in his docs that Megan falsely implied that he and his team were behind the incorrect claims that she dropped the case against him, adding that that further slandered his character.
It is also being reported that Tory mentioned that there was evidence disproving Megan's side of the story, but that he couldn’t speak on it to defend himself because of the judge’s order mandating his silence. He is also worried that by staying silent, it will appear as though he concedes to the claim in her story.
MEGAN'S ATTORNEY SPEAKS
Megan's attorney Alex Spiro insinuated that Tory and his team could be leaving out some pieces of the puzzle, saying, “Did the motion fail to mention that there was gunshot residue on his hands or that he texted her ‘Sorry?' I haven’t had a chance to read it.”
