Acoustic K-pop is an interesting concept, and we’ll get to see how it works when BTS does an “MTV Unplugged” special on February 23rd.
MTV says the special will give fans, quote, “a front-row seat to never-before-seen versions of the group’s most career-defining hits and songs from their latest album “Be”, in intimate settings.”
“Unplugged” debuted in 1989, and has featured some legendary sets over the years from artists including Nirvana, LL Cool J, Aerosmith, and Tony Bennett.
