One-Third of People Have Said “I Love You” to Someone They’ve Only Dated Virtually

Can you fall in love with someone without ever actually meeting them in person?  The pandemic has REALLY raised that question, and the answer has been . . . well, yup.

According to a new survey, one in three people say they’ve told someone “I love you” after they’d only dated virtually . . . and never met face-to-face.

The survey also found the average single person has had 13 virtual dates in the past 10 months.

Their five favorite things about virtual dating are:  They’re cheap . . . less pressure . . . easier to arrange . . . easier to leave . . . and don’t require getting so dressed up.

And the five least popular things are:  There’s no opportunity to, you know, do stuff to each other at the end . . . awkward silences . . . technical issues . . . not being able to smell the person . . . and not being able to see how tall the person is.
