HBO is developing a “Scooby-Doo” spin-off that’ll be an origin story for Velma. (Who of course is the nerdy one with glasses.) The show will be animated, but geared toward adults. MINDY KALING will be voicing Velma.
No other details or casting information has been announced.
They also didn’t say how they’d handle her sexual orientation, but didn’t Hollywood address it in ‘Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed’?
