Goes without saying but we watch a whole lotta TV in 2020 thanks to the pandemic. Interesting fact about our viewing though, we were very nostalgic.
‘Friends’ was the most watched comedy of 2020, logging 96.7 billion (with a B) minutes viewed. ‘The Big Bang Theory’ then ‘Two and a Half Men’ followed in the list.
The numbers, built by Nielson, did not include streaming. Imagine if they did. HBO Max is the exclusive streaming home of both ‘Friends’ and ‘Big Bang.’
Other shows that had big numbers in 2020 were ‘The Andy Griffith Show,’ Family Matters,’ ‘George Lopez,’ and ‘The Bernie Mack Show.’
