Mysterious tree creature turns out to be croissant

Residents in a Poland neighborhood were disturbed by a mysterious creature they found in a tree. No one could figure out what the thing was… some strange retile? Giant slug? Cocooning alien?

Turns out it was a croissant.

Before animal control arrived to climbed the tree to confirm it was a pastry, residents kept their windows closed to prevent the ‘strange thing’ from getting in their homes.
