South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone announced a new deal with MTV Entertainment Thursday for their show SOUTH PARK.

The new deal will extend the show’s current run through 2027, marking its 30th season, as well as add several ‘made-for-streaming’ movies that will live on Paramount+. The first two films will be released before the end of 2021.

“Comedy Central has been our home for 25 years and we’re really happy that they’ve made a commitment to us for the next 75 years,” – Parker and Stone

South Park debuted on Comedy Central on August 13, 1997. The show has won both Emmy and Peabody Awards over that time. There was also the major motion picture ‘South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut’ in 1999.
