Omicron is causing all sorts of food shortages, mostly because workers are sick, so it’s messing with the supply chain. But which shortages are Americans MOST worried about?
Google Trends looked at the food shortages we’ve been searching for the most this week. And FLAMIN’ HOT CHEETOS made the list . . . obviously they’re essential.
1. Chicken is the top food shortage most states are searching for, especially in the middle of the country. Hawaii is googling it the most though.
2. Cream cheese shortage. People on the East Coast are googling it the most, especially in Vermont and Florida.
3. Flamin’ Hot Cheetos shortage. Two states are googling it more than any other shortage . . . California and Arizona.
4. Potato shortage. New Mexico is the only state worried about potatoes more than anything else. Flamin’ Hot Cheetos are a close second. (Google Trends)
