Just like the rest of America, the celebrity realm is talking non-stop about the Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, which made the right to a legal abortion the law of the land.
Most of the entertainment world is weighing in with anger and alarm, including:
Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo had plenty to say about the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade when they took the stage at Britain’s massive Glastonbury Festival over the weekend.
Billie went first, addressing the 100,000 gathered to see her on Friday while introducing “Your Power.” She said, “Today is a really dark day for women in the U.S. I’m just gonna say that because I can’t bear to think about it any longer in this moment. This song is dedicated to that I guess…”
Olivia was even more direct when she launched into her set on Saturday. She brought on special guest Lily Allen for a cover of Lily’s classic “F— You,” introducing the song by saying “I’m devastated and terrified. I wanted to dedicate this next song to the five members of the Supreme Court who have showed us that at the end of the day, they truly don’t give a [bleep] about freedom.”
The former Disney Channel star added, “The song is for the justices: Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh. We hate you! We hate you.

Michelle Obama hit all her socials to post a long statement saying “I am heartbroken that we may now be destined to learn the painful lessons of a time before Roe was made law of the land. When we don’t understand our history, we are doomed to repeat its mistakes.”
