TED CRUZ is a politician who knows what’s important. Which is why, for the second time this year, he’s feuding with . . . a MUPPET.
Yesterday, “Sesame Street” posted a public service ad about ELMO getting his COVID vaccine. In the clip, Elmo’s dad Louie says he had questions about Elmo getting the shot.
But after speaking with their physician, he learned that it was, quote, “the best way to keep himself, our friends, our neighbors and everyone else healthy and enjoying the things they love.”
Well, Ted had a problem with this.
He Tweeted, quote, “Thanks, @sesamestreet for saying parents are allowed to have questions! You then have @elmo aggressively advocate for vaccinating children UNDER 5. But you cite ZERO scientific evidence for this.”
Cruz had a similar issue when BIG BIRD got his shot in November, calling it “propaganda”. (CBS News)
