It’s that time of year again where “Time” magazine announces their Entertainer, Athlete, and Icon of the Year.

Here they are:

Entertainer:  The all-female K-pop group Blackpink.  They’re the most-subscribed artist on YouTube with 83.1 million.  Their latest album, “Born Pink”, is the best-selling female K-pop album of all time.

Athlete:  Aaron Judge.  He hit 62 home runs, breaking fellow Yankee Roger Maris’ American League record.  This set a record for the American League for most home runs hit in a season.

Icon:  Michelle Yeoh.  She started acting in Hong Kong films in the ’80s and was in the 1997 James Bond movie “Tomorrow Never Dies”.  She became more well-known THIS year after starring in “Everything Everywhere All at Once”.
