If you visit the kennels at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center and meet our Wet Nose Wednesday star for this week you would think this boy is a real nut. Well…you would be right. His name is Nut and yes, he does act nuts when he gets out of his kennel but what do you expect when a young energetic boy has been living in a kennel for over a month?
Nut is a 10 month old Bassett Hound mix. When he gets outside he’s a bundle of energy who makes the most of every minute he’s out of his kennel. He loves to run and burn off energy. Nut came in as a stray and he definitely needs someone to teach him how to walk on a leash and have some manners. Right now this boy is all potential just waiting for the right human to teach him how to be part of a family.
Nut and plenty of other wonderful dogs and cats are waiting to meet you at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. Come on out and meet your new best friend Monday-Friday 10:30-4:15 and Saturday 10:30-12:45.
Thanks to The Villas Senior Care Community in Sherman for sponsoring Wet Nose Wednesday!
