We’re less than two weeks away from Halloween, so if you’re planning to create your own costume this year . . . you’re on the clock.

Goodwill just released a survey, where 59% of people said that “rising costs” meant that they were more likely to create a DIY costume this year, rather than just grabbing one at a store or online.

70% of them said they’d prefer to shop for the costume “in person,” and if you’re looking to save money, thrift stores are a popular option.

30% of people say they’re planning on a pop culture-inspired costume . . . 28% say they’re going for something CLASSIC, like a witch, a zombie, or a vampire . . . and 23% say they’d like to have a “unique, one-of-a-kind” costume.

Overall, 81% of people plan to celebrate Halloween this year . . . even if it’s just giving out candy to trick-or-treaters, decorating their home, or hitting up a party.
