Adam Sandler has been thrown some heavy curveballs in the development of “Happy Gilmore 2”. In the past year he’s lost some key players from the original: Bob Barker, Carl Weathers, and now Joe Flaherty.
But even though they can’t be in the sequel, he hopes to honor them in some way.
Quote, “It sucks, we love those guys. They were such a big part of the movie and just great people. But we’re going to get them involved somehow. They’ll be involved.”
Bob Barker’s involvement may come in the form of a cameo by current “Price Is Right” host Drew Carey. Adam says, quote, “I would love Drew Carey to be in this movie out of respect to Bob.”
