Coldplay Set Release Date For First Single From Their New Album

Coldplay has shared on Instagram that they are releasing the first single from their new album on June 21. The new song is titled, “feelslikeimfallinginlove,” and it will be the first track lifted from their forthcoming record, Moon Music, which is the follow-up to 2021’s chart-topping Music of the Spheres. Coldplay have teased the sound and musical style of their new single by posting a brief clip on TikTok, where Chris Martin is singing part of the tune in front of a lit up ferris wheel at a fairgrounds. They also recently distributed lyric flyers outside of the Olympic Stadium in Rome and hosted a crowd sing-along in Athens that might be used in an upcoming music video for the single. There is no official release date for Coldplay’s 10th studio album, but Martin has shared that Moon Music is going to be the second LP in the Music of the Spheres series. (Billboard)
