Shirley Hughes, the mother of model Tony Hughes who was murdered by Jeffrey Dahmer, has severely condemned Ariana Grande’s comments about how the serial killer would be a dream dinner date. The comments made Hughes very emotional and upset, especially considering they were made to a group of impressionable young people. “To me, it seems like she’s sick in her mind,” Hughes said of Grande in an interview with TMZ. “It’s not fancy or funny to say you would have wanted to do dinner with him. It’s also not something you should say to young people, which she says she did.” Tony’s sister, Barbara Hughes-Holt, told TMZ that Grande’s hurtful comments seemed to idolize Dahmer, and that she is hoping that the singer will eventually apologize. “Unfortunately, until it happens to her and her family, she just doesn’t know what we have been through,” Hughes-Holt said.
