Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation has donated $100,000 to Hurricane Helene relief efforts. The foundation is contributing $50,000 to José Andrés non-profit food relief organization, World Central Kitchen, as well as donating $50,000 to the disaster response organization, Team Rubicon. The money will help both causes provide relief and assistance to those affected by Hurricane Helene. Metallica made the announcement of their charitable contributions on their official website on Friday (October 4), providing links for fans to also donate to their causes. World Central Kitchen’s disaster response includes providing people in the areas hardest hit by the storm with “vital food and clean water, reaching isolated communities using helicopters and airboats.” Team Rubicon is working closely with federal and state emergency response agencies to provide immediate disaster relief assistance to those in need.
