Buzzfeed put together a list of 21 couples that got together when one of them was a teenager. In some cased, an UNDERAGE teenager.
Here are 10 highlights:
1. Milo Ventimiglia was 29 when he started dating his 17-year-old “Heroes” co-star Hayden Panettiere.
2. Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman was 47 when he started dating Mandy Smith . . . who was then 14. (!!!) They got married when she was 18. They separated two years later, and finalized their divorce two years after that.
3. When Chad Michael Murray was 24, he started dating 17-year-old Kenzie Dalton, who was an extra on “One Tree Hill”. He proposed to her in 2006, when she was a senior in high school. They broke up after a 7-year engagement.
4. When Fergie was 23, she briefly dated a 16-year-old Justin Timberlake.
5. Wilmer Valderrama was 29 when he first met 17-year-old Demi Lovato. They supposedly didn’t date until she was 18, though. Wilmer also dated Lindsay Lohan when he was 24 and she was 17. Oh, and when he was 20, he dated Mandy Moore, who was 16 or 17 at the time. How did this guy never get canceled???
6. Joel Madden from Good Charlotte dated Hilary Duff when he was 24 and she was 16. He’s married to Nicole Richie now.
7. Courtney Stodden was only 16 when she married 51-year-old character actor Doug Hutchison. They were married for nine years.
8. Taran Noah Smith from “Home Improvement” was only 17 when he married 32-year-old actress Heidi van Pelt. They had a son, but divorced after six years.
9. Melanie Griffith was 18 and Don Johnson was 26 when they got married.
10. Marilyn Monroe was only 16 when she married her first husband, James Dougherty. He was 21.
