City of Springfield and various local organizations seek select high school juniors and seniors for 2025 Student Worker Arborist summer internship program

The City of Springfield, in partnership with local organizations, is seeking high school juniors and seniors who live in the 62701, 62702, or 62703 zip codes to apply for the 2025 Student Worker Arborist summer internship.

This 8-week paid position offers students hands-on experience in community outreach, environmental sustainability, and basic arborist functions.

Under the guidance of the Community Outreach Arborist, students will learn how trees impact neighborhoods, help organize a community tree walk, and take part in field trips
and educational programs.
