Springfield Catholic Charities announced on April 17 that it would be hosting its Annual Fundraiser on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:30 p.m. at the Knight of Columbus Hall, located at 2200 Meadowbrook Rd. in Springfield.
Event tickets are set at $50 per person, or $350 for a table of eight, including hors d’oeuvres and drinks; tickets may be purchased on the diocese website, which can be found here.
The organization noted that this fundraiser, during the year that the Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois is celebrating one hundred years of providing services to those in need, is a celebration of hope and is critically important in maintaining their ability to continue serving so many people in desperate situations.
They also reaffirmed that it is the mission of Catholic Charities to assist all people regardless of their faith or religious affiliation – as they have been doing locally since the 1920s – through their many programs including St. John’s Breadline, Holy Family Food Pantry, Mobile Food Pantry, Legal Services, Intact Family Services, and the Crisis Assistance & Advocacy Office.
For more information about Springfield Catholic Charities, to make a donation, or to volunteer, the group urges the community to contact Patrick McConnell, Area Director, at 217-523-4551 or at mcconnell_spfld@cc.dio.org.
