The Massey Commission has released its six-month progress report, calling on local government, business, academic leaders, activists, and the community to actively participate in its efforts.
The commission, which was established for a one-year term in August, aims to transform its recommendations into law.
“Our work is urgent and essential, and part of this urgent work is to offer substantial recommendations for policy change for the Co-Chairs and Commissioners to propose,” the commission said in a statement. The report emphasizes the importance of incorporating new voices and enhancing community dialogue.
