CWLP: Water main break closes section of Cook Street, traffic

City Water Light & Power has issued a traffic closure bulletin along a stretch of E. Cook Street as a result of a water main break: East Cook Street was closed today between White City Boulevard and Regency Court, just east of the US post office at Cook & Wheeler, in order for CWLP Water Department crews to conduct repairs on a leaking water main.

Lanes will reopen after all work is complete along with road surface repairs.

Motorists are advised to plan for alternative routes to avoid delays and should slow down and drive with caution around this work zone.
