A 40-year-old male biker was hit by a vehicle today near 2500 Dinius Rd.

The Sangamon County sheriff’s office says the pedestrian was riding his bike westbound and was struck by a silver van.

The van left the scene prior to the arrival of officials.

The suspect is an older white male in his 70s/80s.

He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, and a hat.

The van left the scene going westbound.
