Sangamon County Coroner Jim Allmon has confirmed the passing of Bradley Lund of Springfield. Bradley was pronounced deceased at 5:52 AM on the morning of June 2, 2025 after more than a month of inpatient care at HSHS St. John’s Hospital for multiple blunt injuries from the car crash at the YNOT Outdoors After School Camp in Chatham on April 28. He was 8 years old.
Bradley’s death marks the fifth fatality resultant from the accident. His death and the deaths of the other four victims remain under investigation by law enforcement.
