A Springfield man is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in a crash last week near Lincoln that killed a man from Bloomington.

Illinois State Police said 47-year-old Sylvester Anderson was also arrested for driving with an expired license, illegal transportation of alcohol, and traffic violations.

Anderson was treated at a Springfield hospital.

The other driver, 27-year-old Krynn Schupbach, was pronounced dead at Lincoln Memorial Hospital shortly after arrival
