NWS in Lincoln updates survey regarding last Wednesday’s tornadoes that struck area

The National Weather Service in Lincoln has updated its survey of tornadoes that struck the area last Wednesday.

The office confirmed 14 tornadoes, with the strongest reported as an EF-2 with estimated peak winds of 125 miles per hour on the ground for nearly seven miles from the Jacksonville airport to the Morgan-Cass county line near Literberry.
