US Senators Tammy Duckworth and Dick Durbin have announced that the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport will be receiving $942,571 in federal funding. The he funding is provided through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Authority and is earmarked for runway rehabilitation at the airport. Duckworth noted “Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport is an essential economic hub for Springfield and a source of jobs for so many working families,”
