Despite what the Internet has been suggesting all weekend, Coldplay takes no glee in destroying relationships.  And they’re trying to make sure it never happens again.

During their show Saturday night in Madison, Wisconsin, Chris Martin actually warned the audience before they did the “kiss cam”.  It was their first show since they OUTED tech CEO Andy Byron and his mistress last week.

He said, quote, “We’d like to say hello to some of you in the crowd.  How we’re gonna do that is we’re gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen.  So please, if you haven’t done your makeup, do your makeup now.”

The fan who posted footage Tweeted a little bit later that they didn’t show ANY couples.

On a related note, Byron has officially resigned from his company, Astronomer.  He still hasn’t made a statement about this whole mess.

(By now you’ve probably seen about 4,000 kiss cam memes on social media.  Check out this collection from TheTopicalFruit.com.)
