A former Springfield police officer was sentenced on Wednesday to six and a half years in prison for sexual misconduct that occurred with three victims while he was on duty in 2020. Taylor Staff was arrested in 2021.
He pleaded guilty in April to custodial sexual misconduct, official misconduct and aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Staff was given credit for nearly 1,000 days served on electronic monitoring.Sentencing
