Talks continue between the Springfield Education Association and District 186 over a new teachers’ contract.
Many union members are hopeful a deal can be made before the start of the school year.
Aaron Graves, president of the Springfield Education Association on Tuesday said “ We know where the changes need to happen, we know where the cuts need to happen, we know where we need more people, we know what schools are imbalanced, we know where the inequities exist, we can change all of it.”
