Springfield Police arrested a 45-year-old man early Saturday after responding to a report of a person with a gun and shots fired in the 2500 block of South 9th Street.
Police obtained a search warrant and arrested Aumaurionne Flowers of Springfield inside a nearby residence after officers found two firearms. Flowers remains in the Sangamon County Jail.
